Chicago Hotel – ROPECRAFT Rope Event

Rooms at the Sheraton Lisle are expected to be available for all guests with our group. We estimate that all attendees looking to make new reservations who fill this form out in early April will have their room requests accommodated by May 1st if not before.

This Memorial Day Weekend, we’re heading back for our sixth ROPECRAFT Chicago to the Sheraton Lisle!

ROPECRAFT Chicago 2025 will be held at the Sheraton Lisle near Naperville. This will be our fifth event in this space and they have been looking forward to hosting our group again since we left last year! Our space includes all the ballrooms and event rooms, the meeting center and the central atrium with its six story soaring ceilings so there’s lots of room to get your rope on, check out the art and attend some of our many classes. It’s located a convenient twenty to thirty minute drive (without traffic) from each Chicagoland airport and parking is free on site!

Please note: rooms for our event are getting scarce. If you are having an issue booking or need to make changes to a reservation you already have, please fill out this form!

Our room rate is just $124 per night plus the usual and customary unavoidable taxes and fees. Any rooms booked outside our block through deal sites, points, etc will be relocated to a sister property down the street to ensure that all guests in the hotel on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights are with our group. Additionally, only ticketed event attendees will be permitted in the building on these nights and allowed in through our security checkpoints on these nights.

There’s a whole lot to do in the Chicagoland area, and there’s good news if you’re going to make a vacation of it because you’re welcome to stay over anytime starting Thursday departing until Wednesday with our group.

Get There From the Airport

The Sheraton Lisle near Naperville is located a 20-30 minute drive (pending traffic) from both Chicago O’Hare and Chicago Midway Airports:

A courtesy shuttle for the Sheraton Lisle can pick up hotel guests from the nearby public transit train stations without cost (though tips are appreciated). They can also travel anywhere within 5 miles for you! Details on run times can be confirmed by calling the hotel front desk at +1 630-505-1000 but are estimated to be 8 am to 10 pm each day or later depending on demand.
A taxi or Uber from the airport to the hotel. Cost estimates vary based on services provided, but many attendees choose to ride share and we’ll have a Fetlife thread for that shortly!
Public transit. For those who are bold who have a few hours of adventuring to spare, it is possible to take a combination of trains and buses from the airports directly to the transit centers where that courtesy shuttle can pick you up for very little cost. The Chicago Transit Authority can tell you more about that option!
