The Inclusivity and Accessibility Coordinator
The ROPECRAFT community is brought together by a shared interest in bondage, and spans a wide variety of identities and backgrounds. ROPECRAFT attendees meet at many intersections, including age, ability, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, and religion.
We believe that promoting positive relations and engaging in best practices towards all members of various groups is integral to facilitating a safe and welcoming kink and fetish environment, and enriches the ROPECRAFT experience for everyone. To this end, lochnessia has joined the ROPECRAFT staff as the Inclusivity and Accessibility Coordinator.
In the weeks leading up to the event, the Inclusivity and Accessibility Coordinator’s (IAC) duties involve the development, monitoring, and review of ROPECRAFT policies in an effort to ensure that everyone who attends has equal access to services, spaces, and activities. The IAC works closely with management, staff, and the Consent Rocks Team to provide input on a constructive and empathetic framework for reducing and responding to any incidents at ROPECRAFT which involve discrimination or microaggression, whether through oversight or intent.
On-site, lochnessia will be available at the ROPECRAFT Help Desk each day from 9am-10am and from 6:30pm-7:30pm. They will also be on-call as needed until midnight each day.
Questions or concerns that you feel should be addressed by the Inclusivity and Accessibility Coordinator prior to ROPECRAFT should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Inquiries sent through Fetlife will not be answered.
